domain name registration
What is Domain Name Registration? Domain name registration is the process where a unique domain name is selected and registered by a user, giving the user the right to use that domain name for their Web site. If you're just starting out, deciding on a business name and domain name go hand in hand. If you've already got an existing business you may find that your options for domain names are limited. Either way deciding on a domain name, finding out if it is available, and then registering the name combine to make the first step to getting your website started.
Let's talk before registering your domain name because Search Engine Optimization begins here as well. The best tip I can give you is to try to include your product name or keyword(s) into the domain name itself and get a .com extension. For example: FloridaRealEstate.com or JimmysJellyWorms.com You'll want the .com extension in case your business really takes off and you expand your advertising to TV and Radio. People will remember the name but not the extension, then they'll visit the .com first. No need in advertising for someone else's business.
The price of registering your domain name(s) differs between the domain name extensions like .com, .org, .info, etc... For a .com domain name you can expect to pay $10.00 to $15.00 a year. I only charge $10.00 a year per domain name. I'll register the domain name for you and set it up on automatic renewal every year so that the registration will never expire. Trust me you DO NOT want to let it expire. An observant domain name reseller could snatch it up and basically hold it ransom for x amount of dollars.
